Baby update

I had an appointment on Wednesday and then again today to determine how long my doctor will let me go before being induced. Everything looked great on the ultrasound so she will let me go till Wednesday, March 4. I was really hoping she would give me longer, but she doesn't want the baby to be too big. I have made progress since Wednesday so hopefully this baby will come on its own before Wednesday. I just really don't want to be induced!!

Sugar n' Spice and Everything Nice

Whoever came up with this saying has never been to my house. My little girl has truly been testing me lately. Her older sister was the same way. She has gotten much better since she is older, but boy my girls know how to get me going. Piper has two new things she has started doing all day everyday!! The first is taking off all her clothes and diaper. I can not keep them on her. Everytime I turn around she is running through the house naked. I have nicely cleaned carpets that she keeps peeing on. The worst is she strips down when I put her down for a nap and falls asleep naked. The problem is she wakes up too early because she pees on herself, which makes for a very grumpy rest of the day. I guess it could be worse. I have tried everything. She can get out of any clothing. I have tried layering with a onesie. I even put a turtleneck onesie on her and she managed to get out. I have tried taping her diaper with packaging tape. She can get out of that too. The girl can get out of anything. Just as I am typing she has taken her jammies off and pooped in the middle of my kitchen floor.

She has also started biting. She tortures Cy and Logan. If she doesn't get her way, watch out she will clamp down and not let go. Cy has two big bruises and she broke the skin on Logan's chest. We have luckily been able to stop a few of the bites. She tried to bite Cy's check tonight. Cy is so sweet and loving to her and practically gives her everything she wants. When she gets in trouble for biting he gets very upset. He has stood up for himself a few times lately, but the poor kid has to put up with so much.

See this is why this baby does not want to come out!!!

Baby Update

I had my appointment today and there is no change. I am a loose 1 if that means anything, but I still don't have my hopes up of this baby coming anytime soon. It is nice and comfortable and I don't blame it. It will happen when it is ready to happen. I love not knowing and just waiting to see.

Baby update

I have had several phone calls and emails wondering what the latest is with the baby. As of today I am 38 weeks and 2 days and absolutely nothing is happening. I know how much harder it is when they come out so I am not upset about this at all. With every other pregnancy I have dilated weeks in advance. The doctor did tell me today that they would let me go 10 days past my due date, but that was it. So right now I am not in a hurry. I feel great so I am just going to enjoy it while I can. The baby will come when the baby is ready to come (which isn't always when I think it should come).
