Fun Birthday Night
We had a great dinner at Red Lobster. Landon wanted snow crab legs and scallops for his birthday dinner. He loves seafood. Did Zack and I eat good or give into the delicious temptations??? I guess we will find out next Monday. We came home for cake and ice cream, but Landon was too full to eat any. He requested a cake without any icing--even I can make that. I can't believe my boy is 7!!
We got a little snow tonight! Landon was very excited that it snowed on his birthday.

Happy Birthday Landon!!!
Happy Birthday to my handsome, smart, creative, kind, loving 7 year old!! Landon is such a joy to have as a son. He is the best big brother always looking out for his younger siblings. He tries his best at all he does. What more can you ask for? I feel so blessed to have been given such a wonderful son!! I love you Landon!

Cy-"Maybe if I just start pestering Piper she will stop taking my picture."
It worked I was done. I just had to get some pictures of these cute outfits my Mother-in-laws friend let us borrow.
Saturday
Fun pictures from an ordinary day in the Fowler home.
Cy found some chocolate cake crumbs Logan dropped on the floor...
He decided it was just easier to lick them off the floor...
Boy was that yummy!!!
Mia lost another tooth!!
Logan was suppose to be taking a nap, but this is how we found him when we went to check on him. Those are Mr. Potato Heads glasses.
No Wrestling News
Landon was not able to wrestle in the Beginner's tournament today because he hurt his leg. Last night they had a lock-in at school for those who brought in a certain amount of money for Turkey Trot. Landon and Mia both qualified so they got to go eat pizza and play games. He was running, jumping, and climbing when his leg popped. It only hurt a little then but became much more painful during the middle of the night and this morning. He had difficulty walking this morning so we took him to the doctor. He pulled a muscle that goes into the pelvic bone. He is fine now but the doctor thought it was best to stay off it for a few days so he wouldn't injure it any more. He was very bummed, but there will be more wrestling tournaments.

Biggest Loser: Couples
Okay, so Zack and I have a few pounds (maybe more than a few) we need to lose. We have been trying to make better choices this week and have done a fair job, but not good enough. We give in so easy. We have been trying to think of something that would really motivate us. Today I had an idea and we are going for it! I asked Zack if we should have a competition with other couples and have a BIG prize at the end. Something worth losing weight for. He thought it sounded good. We are going to do a 12 week Biggest Loser: Couples competition. I called Gretchen to see if she and Steve would be on board. Zack talked to Luke to see if he and Cara would be on board. We made a few more phone calls and haven't ended our search yet. Everyone seemed to be excited. Gretchen recruited some more people at the wrestling tournament tonight. We are meeting Monday night to weigh-in and go over the rules and rewards. We will have weekly cash rewards in addition to the BIG prize at the end!!! Participants so far: Zack and McKenzie Fowler, Luke and Cara Fowler, Steve and Gretchen Solomon, and John and Laura Heath. Gretchen and I will keep you updated on our blogs. She and Zack have already started the trash talk, so it should be interesting. You don't find a crazier, funnier group than we have participating. In my eyes, it is a win-win situation. Even if you don't win the big prize, getting healthier and taking care of your body is a great prize.
Wrestling fun!!
This weekend is Landon's first wrestling match for the season. They have had a few away tournaments so far, but we have not been to any. He is so excited. It is a beginners tournament so nobody wins or loses and everybody gets a metal. Unfortunately, Landon is very competitive and knows whether he wins or not. You can try to tell him he did a good job, but if he lost there is no getting that through his competitive head (I have no idea where he gets this from). Sometimes is even offended by receiving a metal if he has lost. Sharpshooter wrestling weekends in the 'boro usually mean crazy time for me. I have had to back off this year because I can never guarantee the babies will be on the same schedule and they both refuse a bottle!! It doesn't matter how much baby food they have eaten, they still want mama! Hopefully I can get them fed and in bed tonight so I can help run tonight's tournament, but I'm afraid they will be on their own tomorrow. I may make it for an hour here and there, but no guarantees!! I will be there tomorrow night to watch Landon, but will have babies in tow. Wish us luck this weekend and hopefully we can report with pictures!
