Family Home Evening

We went to Trip and Jen's tonight for pizza and Family Home Evening (a free meal is always a good thing these days- thanks Jen). Jen's parents are in town and they decided to open the card tonight to find out the sex of baby #5. I did not ask permission before I began this post, but I'll ask for forgiveness later. When Jen had her ultrasound a few weeks ago, they had the technician write down the sex of the baby on a card and seal it in an envelope. Tonight Caroline opened the envelope, Connor took out the card, and Chase yelled "It's a BOY!!!!". I am so excited for them. Of course either way would be great, but I think they were very excited to see boy! That makes 9 boys and 8 girls for the Meredith grandchildren.

Fluidity Bar

Speaking of amazing family. I received a gift from my sister Meghan last week. She got me a Fluidity bar. For those of you who don't know she is in the infomercial for Fluidity (check it out at http://www.fluidity.com/). If I could just look as half as good as she does from using it, then we will be doing good. I love to exercise but after the 1/2 marathon in September I have not done anything. Hopefully this will help me get back in the swing of things so I can feel better and lose some of this weight! I will spare you by not posting before pictures, but hopefully I will have some after pictures I can post. THANK YOU Meghan!!!

I need your help

I am the Activities Committee Chairperson in our ward. This year we are doing "A Night in Bethlehem" for our Christmas party. I am hoping to decorate the gym as a street scene in Bethlehem with booths where food, toys, and drinks can be bought with a sack of coins given to each family as they enter. After everyone has had a chance to eat we will end with a program of the Christmas story. I want this to be a fun and spiritual experience. My goal is for each person to leave with a true feeling of Christmas and a joy of the birth of the Savior. I don't have much time to pull this off. If anyone has any suggestions of how to decorate or anything that might make this night a success please let me know. Thank you for any help you can give.

Ornament Party just around the corner

This is my favorite time of year when we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. One of my favorite traditions is the annual ornament party. This year I am hosting it at my home. It is a night of Christmas cheer, food, fun, and most important friends. We have ten people participating in the ornament exchange. Each of us will make ten of the same ornament. We exchange the ornaments and come home with ten new ornaments. I have some of the most creative friends and family who participate, which means I get some really cute ornaments! I will be sure to post pictures of all the ornaments. I just wanted to give you something to look forward to. Anyone is welcome to come party with us Saturday night at 6:30!!

The Best Thanksgiving Ever

We had the best Thanksgiving. All the kids played great together. Logan was soooooo good!! We were able to eat, relax, and enjoy each others company. I did not take my camera but click on over to Jen's blog and see the pictures she took. I am so thankful for my amazing family and for the time we had to spend together!!
